The Goal
From cluttered shower caddies to shelves, struggling to completely organize a bathroom is a nearly universal struggle. Our clients, M&N, were fascinated with the capabilities of 3D printing and wanted to create customized shower accessories.
The Process
After speaking with our Senior R&D Engineer, Cameron Williams, the client decided to they wanted to develop rings to hold shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap.
From there, a CAD file was created. As each container was identical, each ring was customized to reference the corresponding container.
TPU 92A
TPU 92A is a tough thermoplastic polyurethane combining flexibility with tear resistance. 3D printing with TPU 92A puts an end to costly and time-consuming molding or casting methods to produce elastomeric parts.
The durability and flexibility of TPU 92A made it the perfect option for M&N. The FDM material will easily stand up to wear and tear over time.
